The infrastructure and the setting of the bars, resembles those of beach bars in Greece with lots of beds, cushions, hammocks and pillows. Even though we didn’t bring our bathing suit and we didn’t get to swim or tan (bummer), we still went on those bars and laid in the comfy beds for a few hours. Needles to say, we had deserts, milkshakes and food (obvi) that was so delicious, like everything else in Belgrade.
When we went back home we were welcomed by a very delicious traditional barbeque in my friends house hosted by their families. I really enjoyed the food, especially the deserts ☺ …and the drinks. Overall, I am so grateful for all that quality time spent in Belgrade with the right people, my best friends. When my parents came to pick me up, I was so sad to leave my girls with whom I spent four amazing years of college but this trip made me realize how distance means nothing when someone means so much. It is definitely going to be hard but it’s not impossible, to keep people in your lives even if they’re not physically present there. Friendship is something so precious and I want for all of you reading this blog to take a moment and be grateful about your friends, the ones that were always there for you when you needed them. Through out life you will make so many friends, some of them will be the right ones, some not so, but in the end all these experiences build your character and the right friends will bring out the best in you. Much LOVE to all the friends <3
