It’s been feeling a lot like winter in this part of the world; cold temperatures and foggy sceneries remind me that New Years is just around the corner. For these cold December nights, staying warm and cozy is number 1 on my list ☺… a glass of hot red wine doesn’t hurt either. When it comes to clothes, a positive perspective on cold weather would be the need for layering, which gives so much space for using pieces creatively. Whether it’s double sweaters, turtle-necks, scarfs…multi-layering can make an outfit stand out without having a statement piece. When it comes to colors; they are getting darker and gloomier reflecting the mood of melancholy that the season brings.
In today’s outfit I want to showcase a knitted two-piece which a lot of people called a ‘pyjama’ and others loved it. Needless to say, I’m in the group of those who love it and been wearing them very often on different occasions. At work, I can wear them with warm under-tights thanks to their wide shape. At home, I can wear them anytime because yea they are as comfortable as pyjamas. In the city, I can style them down with UGGS and a warm jacket or glam it up with a pair of heels and some accessories. Always a big YES to pieces that can be worn differently ☺ In this case even the pant and the sweater can be worn separately as basics. The color gray is very desirable for my winter taste, and easy to match with most of my black outerwear. In fact, the color of this outfit inspired me to pick out this shooting location that is an abandoned artistic looking space. Hope you like the vibe we tried to capture in this look in correspondence with the setting. Have a beautiful rest of the week <3 =============================================================================================== Wearing: Lindex Two Piece Roberto Cavalli Bag • Photos by Donika Rexhepi
