It’s The Hudson Project time, we out!

It’s here. Three months ago my friends and I bought tickets for The Hudson Project and thought this day would never come but it’s here, we are packing the car and leaving in two hours. I am so excited, yet don’t know what to expect because it’s the first music festival where we are going to camp and be in the wild for three days. It is a three-day electronic music festival in Saugerties, New York where around 20,000 people are expected to attend. I have been to music festivals in Europe but they were way smaller and more low-key that what I am about to experience, I am so ready for this! From what I’ve read and been told about the rave culture in America, it is way much bigger over here than Europe and they share different elements and taste in music and I look forward to it. It is going to be a good opportunity to attempt and compare these two rave scenes in order to educate ourselves and be able to look at the experience from different perspectives.

Music is a very important aspect of my life, I am always around it and it inspired me for pretty much everything I have done until now and it continues to inspire me in new ways everyday. I believe that music is food for the soul and it creates the good vibes around us. It is the universal language of all mankind and what feelings sound like. To dance is to embrace life, letting your body follow the sound and the positives vibes of life, I love that. I am so grateful to be able to experience three days of music, seeing DJs like Bassnectar, Odesza, Big Gigantic, Felix Cartel, Infected Mushrooms, Moby and many more that I never heard of but will certainly be playing great tunes.

On a side note, this is the last post I’m writing as a 21 year old because Saturday is my birthday (woohoo)! I am going to be at the festival and I think this is the best way possible for me to celebrate 22 years of amazing life and pure happiness.

I will keep you posted as soon as I can with very cool pictures, in the meanwhile enjoy this track from two of my favorite DJs that I am going to see there Odezsa, who are playing on Friday (check previous post)! Spread the love ☺
