helloooo people ☺
It’s SOOOO cold ☹ !! Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I felt this cold; it’s unbearable. It’s so messed up how the weather can affect everyone’s daily life. I haven’t left the house in days and as much as I want to see all my friends, I’m pretty sure I will freeze outside. However, the only good thing about this weather is the snow, everything is white and looks magical. So, I finally decided to leave the house today for a few minutes to shoot a new outfit.
Today’s look is something I would wear for the festivities, at a dinner or during the day. It’s not so “glamorous” but the gold and the jewels make it more festive, which I believe is just enough for the occasion. Now that I am back home, I get to wear a lot of my sister’s clothes and some of the pieces you’re seeing here are from her closet. I started the look with this knitted golden top, it has a subtle shine and I love the gold color for special occasions. My favorite item from this look is the faux fur coat, so elegant and chic. I’ve borrowed it from my sister’s closet and it’s the only jacket to keep me warm in this cold. If you follow my blog regularly, by now you have probably realized how minimal I am when it comes to accessories, specifically jewelry. I don’t wear rings, watches, bracelets and rarely any necklaces. My only “jewels” are my pearl earrings that I’ve been wearing for the past 4 years and my Pandora bracelet (because I’m obsessed with the charms). But today, as you can tell, I went all crazy with my sister’s jewelry. I think gold is a great color to experiment with for Christmas and New Year festivities and why not do that with jewelry?! Hope you guys like the pictures that we took, it was such a struggle shooting in -10 Celsius degrees haha ☺ Enjoy the rest of 2014 with your beloved ones.
